His obsession with the dead led to years spent studying the texts of the Green Vault's library, and visiting sites of battle or massacre whenever he could, where he would collect corpses to experiment on, earning him the whispered moniker of 'Der Erntemann' or 'The Harvestman'.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOn 12 March 1944, the bomb was dropped on Dresden, and von Zögling's dreams were fully realised.
