One outcome was the DM-40 Molot, a development of the Kazak design, that would solve its forerunner's attrition issues with especially thick armour. This necessitated a thickening of the legs to such an extent that the Molot lacks much in the way of manoeuvrability, relying instead on its thick front armour to absorb all but the highest velocity and calibre rounds. Whilst still not capable of going toe-to-toe with the heaviest Axis walkers, it is more than a foil to bipedal examples thanks to its formidable anti-tank gun.
