INTRODUCING THE WARGAME TRADER COMMISSIONS PROGRAM

Today we’re excited to announce the Wargame Trader Commissions Program, a new way for wargamers and hobbyists to bring their miniatures to life while connecting with talented commission artists across the community. If you’re looking for expertly assembled models, tabletop-ready paint jobs, show-quality artistry, or anywhere in between, it’s now easy to get professional work done through Wargame Trader.

What is the Commissions Program?

The Commissions Program is designed to match hobbyists who want custom work with experienced artists who can deliver it. From clipping and cleaning parts to detailed painting and scenic basing, Wargame Trader now gives you direct, secure access to creators who can transform your minis exactly how you want them.

For Artists: A Smarter Way to Get Work

If you’re an artist who paints, assembles, or bases miniatures, joining the program opens up a new channel for paid commissions. The Commissions Artist Program lets you connect with clients without upfront costs or listing fees. It’s free to join, simple to use, and built for artists who want consistent commission opportunities alongside their regular Wargame Trader seller activities.

Once you’re part of the program, you’ll get matched to commission requests and can decide which ones to accept. When a match happens, Wargame Trader handles communication between you and the buyer so you can agree on pricing and expectations. The whole process keeps both sides protected and professional every step of the way.

How It Works

Here’s a quick look at the steps artists follow once they’re in the program:

  • Sign up as a seller on Wargame Trader if you haven’t already.
  • When you’re matched with a commission request, review the details and accept it within the response window.
  • Communicate and finalize terms with the buyer through the Wargame Trader system.
  • List a commission deposit product through your seller portal once terms are agreed.
  • After payment of the deposit, do what you do best, then list the final product for full payment.
  • All communication and transactions are handled within Wargame Trader’s protected channels.

Wargame Trader charges a small fee on commissions, helping keep the platform running and secure for both artists and clients.

Why This Matters

For hobbyists, the Commissions Program takes the guesswork and uncertainty out of finding quality miniature work. For artists, it’s a streamlined way to grow your portfolio and earn from your craft. And for the broader community, it connects experienced artists with the players with ideas for their armies waiting to be brought to life.

We’re thrilled to bring you this new feature and can’t wait to see the incredible results that come from these collaborations. Head over to the Commissions section to get started or learn more about becoming a commission artist today.

Thanks for being part of the Wargame Trader community!
