For years wargamers have relied on scattered forums, social media groups, auctions, and informal marketplaces to buy, sell, or trade miniatures, terrain and hobby gear. These spaces keep the community thriving, but finding what you want can feel like searching a battlefield with no map. Listings get lost, chats get buried, deals can stall, and that perfect piece stays out of reach.

That’s where Wargame Trader comes in.

What Was Missing

Wargaming deserves a marketplace built around how wargamers actually shop and trade. Too many platforms ignore the nuances of the hobby. They treat minis like generic products instead of the heart and soul of someone’s army. They make listing complex, buying risky, and browsing frustrating.

We’ve felt that frustration ourselves. We know the thrill of tracking down a rare model, clearing out shelf space for a new project, and connecting with a fellow hobbyist who gets it. And we’ve felt the pain of seeing purchases fall through, being ghosted, or, worse, almost being caught up with a fraudulent seller. We wanted a better way to enjoy the thrill of opening fresh plastic for the first time, without all the headaches that exist today.

Why Wargame Trader Exists

Wargame Trader was born from a simple idea: a dedicated, easy-to-use hub where the wargaming community can come together to buy, sell, and discover gaming essentials without the noise. Where artists can easily and safely deliver commissions selected just for them, and where you can get a mini painted exactly as you like with no hassle at all. Where game stores can automatically list all of their inventory and sync every transaction without lifting a finger. Where historical pricing data is accurate, easy to understand, and simple to access. Where listing a mini takes only a few seconds, using our standardized catalog of every product ever printed, going back more than 20 years. Where seller fees are less than half of eBay’s, making every purchase is more money in your pockets.

We’re a small, dedicated team of gamers ourselves. Wargame Trader is family owned, founded by twin brothers who grew up with wargames and never lost the joy that came with it. We wanted that joy to be as widespread as we could make it. For every fan of Warhammer, Age of Sigmar, the Horus Heresy, Kill Team, Blood Bowl, Heroscape, and more to enjoy filling their shelves without fear of being taken advantage of by scalpers. Wargame Trader is for all of us.
