The BattleTech: Third Star League Strike Team is a collection of six plastic miniatures (five BattleMechs and one Combat vehicle ) for use in the classic BattleTech tabletop and Alpha Strike games. The box also provides six dry-erase cards, which are intended to directly support Alpha Strike gameplay, and five new Pilot Cards. Originally called the Third Star League Striker Star, the Third Star League Strike Team is the third in a series of four Star League -themed ForcePacks intended to celebrate BattleTech ' s 40th Anniversary, intended to represent an early Third Star League Star largely utilizing former Republic of the Sphere materiel. The contents of the pack is mostly unique and exclusive, with the sole repeat being a normal version of the Hammerhead which was previously Premium Miniature release, with a single pre-painted miniature of the Lament being included.
