Legions Imperialis: Thunderbolt Fighter Squadron. From Warhammer 40k.
Faction: Solar Auxilia.
Release Date: 29 June 2024.
Material: Plastic.
Scale: 32mm.
(Unpainted) (New on Sprue)
The Thunderbolt is a heavy fighter combining devastating strike potential with a high degree of speed and manoeuvrability. They form the bulk of the Imperialis Armada's intra-atmosphere fighter aircraft. While the Thunderbolt's primary role is air superiority, its most famous characteristic, is sheer resilience - it is not unusual for a Thunderbolt to return to base with damage that would have downed a lesser craft.
If aerial domination is your goal, then Thunderbolt fighters are the answer. These versatile craft are equipped with twin lascannons for taking on enemy armour columns, as well as quad autocannons or Avenger bolt cannons for shredding both enemy flyers and ground targets.
These models can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis by mounting them on Aeronautica Imperialis bases, sold separately.
