The Sylvaneth are fey forest spirits who inhabit the wild places of the realms and defend their glades with blade, bow, and spell. They are the children of Alarielle the Everqueen, a deadly and wondrous goddess of nature who seeks to protect her Jade Realm against the depredations of predatory gods. Many Sylvaneth have the appearance of aelf-kin, with a natural grace that makes them formidable in battle. Others have more in common with plants than beings of flesh and blood. They take advantage of their affinity for the deep forests of the realms to stalk and ambush their foes, slaughtering those who dare invade and despoil their ancient lands.
