Volkmar the Grim, Grand Theogonist of the Cult of Sigmar, is the most powerful religious leader in the whole Empire, one of Karl Franz's staunchest allies, and a wise counsellor. Utterly devoted to the destruction of Chaos in all its forms, he knows that Chaos cannot be defeated with strength of arms alone and is convinced the answer lies buried in the archives of the Empire's vaults of ancient scrolls and holy scriptures. However, when Volkmar the Grim heads into battle, he typically rides atop the resplendent War Alter of Sigmar, inspiring the soldiers around him to great acts of heroism.

Enlisting Volkmar the Grim to your army, you'll be able to use the divine inspiration of Sigmar to trounce your foes. Volkmar can enable your units to fight even harder and become more resilient to enemy attacks. His magical items give him greater strength and regenerative powers, making him even more devoted to the task of annihilating your foes.
